You can ride on environmentally friendly buses all over Aalborg. Nordjyllands Trafikselskab have here a map of Aalborg showing all the bus lines, and the names of all the bus stops. The City of Aalborg have implemented an environmental zone in the centre. The environ-mental zone means that all motor vehicles of more than 3.5 tons must either satisfy the Euro 4 emission standard or be fitted with a particulate filter. All city bus lines (with the exception of number 5) drive through the centre of the city, which is part of the environmental zone. At the same time, bio fuel buses are being introduced into the city. So taking a bus in Aalborg is a step in the right, environmental direction.
